First, with 30 seats, is it really a traditional doll Cerradas? How many people can comfortably sit 30 for a meal at home? Second, why are the latest TripAdvisor reviews a few years old? Surely we had a pandemic, but surely people were here recently. These questions asked this the third dolls cerradas, which I tried to book during our visit. Ultimately, we might have been lucky that the first two have not broken out because our experience in Treintasillas was excellent. Every dish was delicious, although the menu included some things I was a little skeptical (blue cheese ice cream? and I'm so glad we shot this place, although the menu didn't talk to us on paper. Excellent flavors, and well balanced in most cases (the dessert was a little oversweet for my taste, but I understand Argentinians have serious sweet tooth (Teeth? . To make the experience even better, the servers were wonderful: friendly, appealing and more than happy to chat. Both people who took care of us spoke excellent English, including the young woman who claimed she was not very professional with the language. Great food, great people, really could not ask for more. First Argentine dinner of our trip, but they put the bar up for the rest of our time here!
We came to an anonymous black door in an anonymous street. It's just a stupid beginning. But from the moment we entered, we were received with such warmth and enormous hospitality that we could not fail what came next. The food was undoubtedly the finest through a margin we enjoyed in Argentina. The Pesto infused Burrata starter melted in our mouth. The proposed white wine tasted from flowers from the plains and complemented Burrata brilliantly. The main course of the lemon and mustard marinaded pork served on a delicious bed of sweet potato with a spicy cherry Chutney was simply the best. A light sorbet followed to clean the palate and then the wonderfully caramelized pineapple with red fruit cream for dessert. Book our table again. Thank you.
I loved that we simply sat down and had no idea what we were going to get. Every single dish that came out for our 5 course dinner was impeccable. Great lighting, nice mood, and great vibe sitting in someones living room. Would totally recommend!
The food was really nice. we reccomend this place for special ocassions. The wine menú is wide, and the selection is excellent.
When planning our trip to Buenos Aires, my girlfriend and I learned of the closed door or private restaurant experience that is gaining popularity in the city. After review of several exceptional options, we selected Treintasillas, and were not disappointed. Obviously the concept of a private restaurant in a residential home may be intimidating, but Treintasillas is easy to communicate with, and promptly returns your emails. Once a night and time is selected, you will receive the address, and need only to arrive on time. The atmosphere is charming and romantic, with about 30 seats and about 8 tables. We were greated by the chef himself, Ezequiel Gallardo and shown to our table. He spoke excellent English, as did our server, and the service was exceptional. We had 4 courses with at least 2 additional amuse bouche from the chef. Each course was paired with a wine, all of which were excellent. The menu changes weekly, but ours was outstanding. Each course was better than he last, and although we were absolutely full, we were sorry to see it end. We felt that the meal as a whole was the best that we had in Buenos Aries, and we ate at several notable restaurants during our stay. I am certain that all of the closed door restaurants are fantastic in their own right, but we would highly recommend Treintasillas to anyone who is considering this experience. And you should it was one of the highlights of our trip.
