Thassos Authentic Greek

This was the best Greek food we've had in decades! And the ambience service were great it felt like being in a fine seafood house. They served us a Greek Chardonnay that impressed my wine connoisseur husband. We will be back to further explore the menu! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

The 3 of us decided to try Thassos for a leisurely late lunch. The place was immediately welcoming; we were warmly greeted promptly seated. All our food was delicious and authentic. The pan-fried sea smelt were positively addictive! [Note: this isn't fast food; it's thoughtfully prepared, which takes time. Plan on staying awhile. Excellent food, drink and service... the folks here truly understand hospitality. We'll be back soon...highly recommend Thassos!

Some of the best Greek food I've ever had! I've been to Greece before and the food there compared to this restaurant is spot on Authentic. Delicious! Also great Pina Coladas Greek beer. Thank you for a wonderful experience

As always, eating at Thassos was an incredible experience. I brought 3 of my friends from out of town, and all 3 of them are Greek. They were so pleased by the food, they kept saying it reminded them of their own family's cooking when they were children. Greek food in Chicago doesn't get any better than Thassos. Skip Greek town, skip the posers of Greek restaurants. Do you and your friends a favor, and experience Thassos!
