I'm ordering Endless shrimp and will try 6 out of 7 offerings with Cole Slaw which is a fine traditional slaw. Key and Jena are taking good care of us in service. All our food was very good which consisted of lobster tail, shrimp several ways, steak, broccoli, fries, salad and Cole slaw. Cheddar Bay biscuits were excellent as usual. My grandson throughly enjoyed his feast and shared a few morsels with grandma who was having a Caesar Salad. She thoroughly enjoyed her food also. My Endless Shrimp were scrumptious. I think I liked everything equally. It ALL had the right taste and temperature. The only item I didn't order was popcorn shrimp which is normally too much breading for the size of shrimp at most restaurants. Walt's Shrimp and Coconut Shrimp were LARGE and included tasty dipping sauces. The Grilled Shrimp on a stick was better than most places around. The Sea Salt and Garlic Shrimp were better than I thought they would be. The Shrimp Scampi and Shrimp Alfredo were perfect. I added the grilled shrimp from the stick into the Alfredo which worked nicely. Sometimes it is how a restaurant fixes issues that makes an impression. My grandson ordered steak cooked medium/pink with his Ultimate Feast. The first steak came out and server Jene suggested we cut it and inspect the doneness. It was well done, barely a sign of pink in the center. She said she would take it back and get another steak cooked to medium/PINK. The second steak came out and it had NO PINK at all. She said she would get another one cooked and it will be undercooked if anything. Manager, Eddie brought the third steak out and it was cooked RARE. He said we can work with THAT. A couple minutes later, Eddie brought the second try on the third steak and it was perfect. My grandson cut an end piece off it, ate it and took the rest home. We were finished with our meals by this time. I appreciate their willingness to correct an issue. I also appreciate Red Lobster having a military discount. I trust we will be back again soon. Our servers Key and Jene were very cordial and responsive to our wishes. Lastly, this restaurant is on of the warmest and inviting atmosphere of anywhere you can go. The seating is quite comfortable also.
OMG my food came out cold as if it was just taken out of the fridge. We were given an half of serving of the lobster mash potatoes. The pasta was disgusting. The manager was condescending with a bad attitude and did nothing to make it right. We go to red lobster's at least twice a month though out our travels and this one was definitely the effing worst. Service and food combined a complete zer0. They totally ruined a birthday celebration. With no apologies.
What's better than Ultimate Endless Shrimp? Not much. It's so good they had to raise the price because it was costing them money. I must have played a small part in that. I'd be lying if I said this was the finest seafood restaurant in the land but every once in a while, it really just hits the spot. And, of course, the cheddar bay biscuits are amazing.
I haven 't visited a Red Lobster in several years. Yes, their cheddar biscuits are phenomenal, but I remembered their food, whether broiled, grilled or baked as swimming in butter. There was no way to eat healthy at Red Lobster. It would appear things have changed. We decided to try a Red Lobster 's Lobsterfest. Most items started around $36, with two sides included with your entree. Our friends tried the Lobster Lovers Dream, priced at $50. At these prices, meal sharing is quite common. We also ordered two side salads (they now offer bacon for your salad without an up charge), and a skewer of grilled shrimp. Our friends Dream meal included a creamy, rich shrimp scampi along with twin tails (one broiled-one baked. Our twin tails were the same broiled-baked combo served with a baked potato and streamed broccoli. Both our meals were served hot and perfectly cooked. Not dried out. Not swimming in butter. I was both relieved and pleasantly surprised. Service was superb, with our server refilling our drinks and offering additional biscuits throughout our meal. She even offered us biscuits to go. Just note, pricing is not for the faint of heart. We ordered our dinner, two small salads and the shrimp. No liquor. And our tab came to over $70 with tip. Our friends, with no add-ons, but two drinks came in over $80! All that was missing was a Jolly Roger.
This was an excellent meal and great service by Aries. The biscuits are amazing and my starter Caesar salad was flavorful. The stuffed flounder has great flavor and the broccoli was good perfectly. The crab legs were great portion and cooked to perfection. Great experience at nice restaurant
