The oysters were overcooked to the point of being rubbery, requiring us to use a knife to remove them from the shell. My pork BBQ was also overcooked and dry, reminiscent of cardboard. The macaroni and cheese appeared to have been reheated multiple times, as it was almost burnt with layers of crispy cheese on top. Additionally, my husband's fried catfish was bland and undercooked. After living in the area for nearly four years, this was by far the worst dining experience we have had. Please avoid this restaurant at all costs.
Visits on three different occasions. Unfortunately would not recommend. The food quality was acceptable, but not what you would expect for the price? The only outstanding food I had was the oysters, but would have to say that the BBQ was compared to other available restaurants.
I thoroughly enjoyed my meal! Such a good variety but focused menu. I had the low country boil and it was loaded with sausage, 15 large shrimp, new potatoes, onions and corn on the cob. I also sampled the fried oysters and shrimp on my friends dish. The Brunswick stew was phenomenal with just a hint of sweetness that is expected in a good stew! Definitely a MUST go when near Clemson.
We ordered food for our Clemson tailgate and it was great! Jim made the ordering process very easy and the food was a huge hit! The scratch-made greens and the sliders were delicious. We will definitely be ordering from this restaurant again. Thank you!
The service and food at this restaurant were both incredibly disappointing. We waited over an hour and 20 minutes for our grilled shrimp and oysters, leading me to leave hungry. Even after the appetizers finally arrived, the oysters were terrible and the shrimp were overcooked. We had originally planned to stay for dinner, but the poor quality of the food made us decide to leave. We ended up having to find another place to eat late at night.
