This is a dish that I often cook and enjoy variations of this veal dish at Valerios in Little Italy. To make it properly, the Veal should be pounded thin, (it was), and dipped in a flour salt and pepper mixture and then cooked on each side for no more that one minute. (It wasn't). My veal was way overcooked, leathery, and I made the mistake of taking leftovers home which I will not be eating. I seldom write negative reviews on OpenTable, and this is a well run and expensive restaurant, but anyone who had the dinner that I was presented with last night would not go back. I will not be back.
Always outstanding meal! The bar area was lively and full of energy! We had excellent service too!
Best restaurant in Cleveland by far and away, highly recommended.
It’s been many years since I’ve dined here and the first time with my husband and kids. It was so nice to see that Giovanni’s incredibly high standards are still there after all the decades. The food, the service, everything was incredible. We had Mike as our server and we highly recommend him. He’s very knowledgeable of the menu, very meticulous and professional, and incredibly well-spoken. We will be back again, soon!
Dining here is like no other experience anywhere on Cleveland’s Eastside at all actually anywhere in Cleveland. It is fine dining without an attitude. Carol and Pierre run an amazing, magnificent experience, exquisite service, magnificent food. Our server was attentive beyond belief. It’s the only fire in town that knows how to pour a decent size drink. I would come here every week if I could.
