Contribuer aux commentaires$5 Taco salad Tuesday. It was delicious. It's the adult version of a walk. All right.
At the foot of a historic building (Westreservat Building, Mel 's is a must! We found out about him on Yelp, and his café is a hidden jewel! Yelp reviewers noticed that they come from work during working days to breakfast and lunch, that the owner is a great interlocutor, makes everything fresh, and would do what you want if it is not on his menu, and our experience was with this. We visited the kielbasa omelette special day (we ordered a natural, and also ordered two kielbasa egg sandwiches on croissants. YUM!!!! So delicious and even our toddler threw something up! They only handed over pieces of extra-Kielbasa, just because we told them our toddler would love it and eat it. We took our order to go (there are only two small tables to eat anyway, and ate by the river (from 'The Flats'). The building is just a block from the water and when we visited (Tues in the middle of the morning, there were simply metered parking directly above the street. 'Mel' is actually the initials of the three daughters of the owner; the name of the owner is Angelo. They were so nice, personal and professional. We would definitely return if we ever walk through Cleveland again! Although he has 5 star reviews with 20-30 reviews on Yelp, we simply had to put Mel 's on the map with a Google review!
They were here three times as far (proven breakfast sandwiches every time, but they have a lot of things on the menu! and had a great experience every time! Angelo is a big guy, always hits a conversation, his food is delicious and the prices are great! If you are looking for a cozy place to eat (or take off and do not feel like paying typical Tremont prices, head to Mel's!
First time with Husband I give them a 5 start. The waiter Sarah very friendly, attentive and great service. I had the Kielbasa Omelette and a side of potatoes with rye toast. Delicious every bite. Anyway, we're coming back. Michelle Sammy
We were wondering looking for a place to eat and the owner Kevin and Mike saw us and brought us to the Sports Bar. It was just like Cheers, a friendly and almost family atmosphere. The food was great and when we get back to Cleveland we will certainly stop by again. The bar was quiet and right in the middle of the area where the Cavs were playing the first playoff game and the Indians had their first Saturday game. It was very nice, the hot dogs were great and the staff was nice. Thanks Kevin and Mike!!
