Cleveland Sands hotel

Absolutely disgusting in hotel management and security waited for hours for a drink, just to stand on line, what we have to pay..do better your club is pathetic.

We came to Cleveland Sands for a birthday celebration and we were not disappointed. It's a fantastic place with delicious food and a wide selection to choose from. The staff were friendly and attentive, especially the event manager Adam, who went above and beyond to make our night special. We highly recommend this place for any occasion. Thanks again to everyone at Cleveland Sands for making it a truly unforgettable evening.

I strongly advise against visiting the Cleveland Sands Hotel. I recently went there to celebrate my son's 21st birthday, as I had been a regular customer for the past 5 years. However, in the last 3 months, many good employees have left, leaving behind those who are disrespectful and unprofessional. The hotel manager, Adam, in particular, was humiliating and bullying towards me. This ruined what should have been a special night for me after overcoming serious health challenges. The staff at the outside bar were rude and unjust. I was shocked and deeply hurt by the treatment I received. I will never return to this establishment and urge others to share their experiences if they have been mistreated as well. The disrespectful behavior of the employees, especially towards young women, is unacceptable. Please be cautious of what you say and do at this establishment. I was eventually allowed to stay after a struggle with the manager, Adam, and witnessed other patrons speaking out against his behavior. My son's birthday celebration was ruined, and I left feeling humiliated and heartbroken. I will never spend another penny at this hotel. Avoid this place to prevent experiencing the mistreatment I endured.

I would like to give a shoutout to the staff, especially Jayde, Emily, and Lauren, for their friendly and attentive service. They promptly resolved a minor issue we had with our chips. The food was delicious as usual and we highly recommend this restaurant.

I see other fellow locals have already expressed same comments as I am going to make... we can 't all be wrong !! We are locals (30 years in the area), and going back 3 to 4 years it was manged by a lovely South African Guy... who got to know the locals...service was great food menu was great value quality for the price . A good 3 1 2 star rating pub. NOW ...even though we are short on good venues to dine and enjoy a coldie....THE SANDS IS A RIP OFF !! No care to shocking service. Managers come and go....because they don 't care...only bark orders for staff...and do little else themselves. Very poor service and very ordinary limited menu...the highlight being a schnitzel or fish and chips ?? Even with limited places to eat well in Cleveland...PLEASE TRUST A LOCAL...if you just want a cold beer and a burger service is not important OK.....if you want a good food dine out.....DO NOT GO TO SANDS. Eventually the owners might start to listen to how poor it is .
