They made the best coffee and toast I have ever had - the sour dough bread was superb, accompanied by the Rhubarb jam which was delicious and the staff so helpful and obliging. Atmosphere of the place great. You can sit on the verandah or inside in an olde worlde atmosphere where the staff talk with you. Very highly recommended and worthy of a stop travelling through,
We stopped here for lunch on our road trip. Not a very extensive menu, but we ordered the BLT with the added egg and it was AMAZING. The bun was soft on the inside and crispy on the outside. Coffee was pretty good. Highly recommend.
Good to eat meals made from local, seasonal food. Tasty food. Coffee is OK - when good it's great but it tends to be erratic. The baklava is the best I have ever eaten, The local and whole foods for sale are really good.
I go to sweet home Cobargo not just for coffee and cake, they have organic produce as well. Tumeric, flour, brewers yeast. Apple cider vinegar.
It's places like Cobargo that make for such a special motoring trip. The village is charming and we had a delicious lunch in this cafe.
