The restaurant has a small menu that includes toast, soup, cakes, and tarts. The food is tasty and affordable, and the staff is friendly. However, it would be nice if they cleaned the tables more often. It's possible that they were busy because of a cruise ship being docked today.
I always believe that it is most convenient to have a café or enjoy a light meal, a coffee, tea, or a cold drink in a spacious setting where you may be spending time at a cinema or large exhibition. The Queenstown Story at the Cobh Heritage Centre fits the bill perfectly. It's lovely to relax and enjoy your drink or snack on the beautifully restored platform of the old Cobh railway station. The menu is simple, offering tea, coffee, scones, sandwiches, and hot soup, but everything is delicious. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, with a charming old train station vibe. The staff is friendly and provides excellent service.
The restaurant offers delicious dishes at reasonable prices. However, we were unable to dine in due to not having a vaccination certificate.
Nice food. Very helpful staff. Great location. Always love having a coffee there.
