Bakery By The Lake At Parkside

Parkside was packed today as usual, so drive to the East location which is very nice. Ordered hot tea and a croissant. The staff was fast n friendly, but..... whoever made the croissants forgot to put any butter in them! It was like taking a bite you got a dry, flaky roll....Yuck! I tossed it. Absolutely, positively no butter in it at all.

Large, covered outdoor seating with views of Riverstone Park. Relaxing. Plenty of goodies to chose from inside, altho a bit tight inside. Bakery items are delish especially the orange/ something scone! Their tomato soup was great thick and full of herbs, sandwich part pretty thin though. Great coffees as well!

The chai tea lattes here are AMAZING. Their breakfast sandwiches are delicious too. Great location near the lake and lots of walkable spots. Our fav coffee shop when we are visiting!

My sandwich was fantastic, the Italian. The iced tea was delicious. I met here for a business meeting and it was a perfect spot. Quiet enough to talk engineering and bright enough to see the plans easily. I highly recommend this place for lunch meetings!

Friendly staff, good prices. Highly recommend the sausage, egg and cheese breakfast sandwich on apple-walnut bread, as well as the huckleberry Italian soda with whipped cream.
