We ate at this restaurant many years ago. Today the restaurant is totally different Not only is the interior renewed, but now they have outdoor dinning, I guess because of the virus. We enjoyed eating outside it was a very pleasant atmosphere. The service was very friendly and helpful, the food was very good for basic Portuguese fare. What made it even more satisfactory was the bill at the end . This is one of the better restaurants in this section in lower Coimbra, in quality, atmosphere and price. We ate here three times. the only problem would be parking, try the lot in front of the train station, the restaurant is a block away.
Very tasty freshly prepared food, great service and reasonably priced. We were made to feel very welcome.
The only gluten free certified restaurant in Coimbra. Went with a couple of friends and sat outside. Amazing place, very quiet even though you are in the heart of downtown. Food is veeerrrrrryyy good, really. 5*, recommend
Everything is gluten free. The blood sausage with apple sauce was a great starter. We then ordered the seafood rice (2 persons minimum, 45€ and wow were we pleasantly surprised: not only did it have a huge portion with tons of shells and big prawns, it also came with a lobster on top! Service was very nice and friendly. Best place we ate in Coimbra!
