Both recommended by our server Sarah. The pics don’t do it justice bc we forgot to take pics until after we started eating. ?The bruschetta was phenomenal and the house bread is amazing.1860 is a must if you’re in CStat! Ask to be seated in Sarah’s area, she knows the menu front and back.
I haven't been in a while. My friend and I always say that the service makes the meal, well let me tell you Tyler was amazing last night. We dined solely on his recommendations and he did not disappoint! Tyler was one of the best wait staff in College Station. The tiramisu was one of the best I have ever had.
Read prior reviews before going, so knew what to expect and what the popular entrées were. Ordered the bread, and was happy to see that they added a balsamic vinegar and olive oil dipping sauce with it. The Salmon Oscar seemed to be missing the crab in it, but the restaurant made it right by providing the crab and knocking a desert off the bill for the trouble. Everything else was spectacular. Of course we will be headed back to the restaurant sooner than later. Thank you for the great meal.
I had reserved a high top table thinking it was an actual table. It was a freestanding bar. Thankfully a regular low table was available. Someone changed the sauce for the baked ziti. Both my boyfriend and I ordered it. His was a little spicy and mine was sweet. The inconsistency concerns me, as we have spoken with the owner (right after opening). My boyfriend (from NJ) was very impressed at the authenticity of the dishes back then, only to find out the chef/owner trained in Brooklyn. Consistency is something to consider.
Went here for a belated Anniversary diner. Service and atmosphere were perfect. Food was amazing! Steak was cooked as ordered and seafood pasta was perfectly prepared. Will definitely be back.
