When the pub reopened, we made a reservation and opted for a meal deal that included a burger, a side, and two drinks, all for about $40. The portobello burger was fantastic, especially with its rich, creamy mayo. However, the hollowed tofu burger fell a bit short; it tasted too much like soy sauce and was quite bland. We ordered garlic bread as one of our sides, and it was quite tasty. I also chose the broccolini as a healthier option—it was good, though nothing extraordinary—and it came with a disposable plastic fork. The portion sizes were on the smaller side, but in the grand scheme of things, the prices were reasonable.
We sat indoors and placed our order directly from the table. We received a code that allowed us to order from the menu and also ordered some soft drinks from the bar. We tried the Tater Tarts, which were delicious and came with a sauce. I had the zucchini burger and really enjoyed it, especially the generous slices of zucchini in it. My partner had the braised black bean burger with some chili sauce, and he enjoyed that as well. I'm looking forward to trying one of their other dishes next!
Being in this area means there's quite a variety of vegan burgers (not that I'm complaining), but I've visited this place twice since it opened, and they truly stand out. The menu is straightforward, and all the burgers are made with natural ingredients—no synthetic meat alternatives here. Both times, I opted for the tofu burger, and I can confidently say it’s fantastic. Every visit has been a 10/10 experience!
