Well I took my girlfriend here she's been wanting to try dimsum so I said this is the place, Bill wasn't that bad plus the service staff was patient enough to help us order and what they think was the best. I was stuffed at the end of it all. Very happy with this place
Cooking is okay. But price is too high and portion is too small. Won't come again.
The truth is that I won't go to this crappy restaurant again, I don't recommend it, it's too expensive and the food doesn't work apart from that and they don't give you good service.
Wouldn't have known about this place if it wasn't for my cousin who lives in Fairfax. From the name you'd think it was Vietnamese and some of the dishes were a bit different from Hong Kong style. We were taking dim sum to my cousin's. The place apparently has been there for about 20 years and we've driven past it numerous times without noticing it. It's a pretty well maintained place with a sizeable dining room nice restrooms and somewhat ornate decor. Service was good and friendly. They have a wheelchair accessible ramp up front. We had a big order for a big family which included a vegetarian and a vegan. We had siu mai, har gow, baked and steamed char siu bao, chicken bao, fried veggie eggrolls, veggie mah po tofu, chicken chow mein, sticky rice wrapped in lotus leaves. These were all pretty much the standard. The pan fried turnip cake was cut up in cubes, and I didn't recognize them but they were good. The pan fried taro cake was a patty of shrimp paste covered in thin strips of taro fried crisp. Very unusual looking but very good. The crisp, stuffed tofu was vegan and good. We were surprised that an order of custard tarts was only two pieces until we saw them. These are the largest tarts I've ever seen and they were delicious! Very flaky crust and generous filling. The deep-fried sesame balls were still crisp and delicious. The roast pork was great. We'll be back.
Always like the food there. And servers are always friendly and attentive.
