Do not recommend to locals. While I was dining alone I was actually asked to move from my table to accommodate a couple of foreign men. I was given an apology, I obliged but asking a lady to move over was quite rude by the waiter. First time experienced it. Not visiting this place again. Food and drinks average.
Love this little cafe! Had a cheese, mushroom potato something omelette which was huge but delicious. The bread was fresh and toasty! Mustard was delisssh. Also the best part, the cute kitty.
Place was quite busy when we visited in the morning. The cappuccinos were soso, watery, not much taste, not enough milk foam. Omelette with mushrooms and toast was alright, but the toast was cut razor thin. Also did not like the butter that came with it much. Pumpernickel with avocado cream cheese and mushroom was a bit bland and dry. But I know it is healthy, of course. Service was very friendly.
The German Bakery was one of those places I've driven past many times but never got a chance to try until my sister and I decided to do breakfast there on a weekend. The parking is limited and as you walk in its the family section with loads of toys and real animals for the kids. My neices loved it so much they dubbed the restaurant (the place with the toys). Had breakfast..eggs were fantastic and really filling. Loved that when you order tea they give 2 tea bags instead of 1. Also both my sister and I huge fans of German bread, love love the pumpernickel. We actually ended up eating here 3x within a week. Worth mentioning: the mustard was just
