Best Mexican food I have had to date. Good seafood too.
I have been looking for the best Mexican Restaurant in COS, I’ve found some okay ones but the flavors just weren’t there. THIS restaurant is the best Mexican Restaurant I have found so far!! Even the salsa had delicious flavor while we waited for our food. Can’t remember the name of my friends plate but she had shrimp and mushrooms and carne asada on her plate, I tried her shrimp and mushrooms and it was bursting with flavor, just delicious. I asked for the #14 but asked for it to be a large combination instead of small. They are not playing around with their portions I probably would have been alright with just small! Husband got enchiladas divorciados, his favorite enchiladas on the plate were the green ones. We got the queso fundido for appetizer, wasn’t quite what I was expecting it was more meaty than cheesy, but we still liked it. Also thought it was weird it didn’t come with tortillas. They make their own homemade tortillas here and they are fresh and yummy. Our waiter was friendly and fast! Definitely taking my parents here next time they visit!
Walking into this place you were treated like a true guest and were seated immediately on a busy Friday night. The staff was very attentive and cared a lot. We were asked by 3 different staff people to fill our chips basket after finishing our first batch. The service was fast and our food came out hot and in a timely fashion. My wife loved her Manuel burrito which featured shredded chicken that was very flavorful. My chicken fajitas are some of the best in the Springs. Mi Mexico and Quijotes are definitely the best fajitas in town. Their chips and salsa were standard but didn’t lack on the flavor. Definitely homemade chips and the salsa had a nice kick to it. Their nachos were a grand slam. The ground beef was so flavorful and the melted cheese was good enough to eat by the spoonful. Overall for an appetizer and two solid entrees (big portion sizes too), we were happy to pay $45 after tip. This will be another restaurant that will become a staple when we need some good Mexican food!
