Ce que User n'aime pas dans Texas De Brazil Columbus :
Déçu de la seconde, je suis entré. Je me suis joué cependant. The service was good, the food was average. The bathroom was extremely dirty, so I wouldn't return. They were also out of the bananas that typically come with the meal. This was disappointing, especially considering the high price of $50 per meal. I tried to use a $20 coupon, but they wouldn't allow me to use it in combination with another offer. I was left feeling unsatisfied since I didn't receive my entire meal. Despite our server being nice, I don't plan on returning to this restaurant.
The food at Texas de Brazil is excellent and my children really enjoy it. The service is also great, a special shoutout to our waiter, Fernando. The atmosphere is good, with a spacious layout and a unique Salad bar in the center of the restaurant. It is a perfect place to visit with your family, offering a wide variety of meat and other options that you will love.
Caution....lunch is only on Friday....otherwise price is $52. Happy hour 2 for 1 is not 2 drinks....it 's one double. And the weirdest of all....they say they have the original authentic caipirinha...with condensed milk. No menu...so just a heads up....the flank steak and ribeye are the most tender and tasty, but the waiter presented prices and drink 's differently than what ended up on the bill. And the front lobby smells of manure....so unexpected for a noon lunch of $150 for 2 people. When we left, lobby still smelled like a barn, no wonder the hostess seemed like she was sucking on a lemon.
We arrived on a weekend with a reservation and were seated pretty quickly. Having been to several of their chain locations in San Antonio and Dallas, we are familiar with the Texas de Brazil way. That being said, this franchise location is not only the worst of the Texas de Brazils we have been to, but is also the worst Churrasco (Brazilian grill steakhouse) location we 've ever dined at. Our waitress was dismissive and pushy with our drink order seconds after greeting us. She visibly disapproved when we had to tell her 2 times that we were uninterested in an alcoholic drink that evening. She basically disappeared after we asked for the flip cards which indicate to the gauchos (meat servers who cut the slices) that we were ready for meat. Consequently, gauchos came up to us endlessly, and one even gave me meat even after I declined that particular cut. The gauchos with experience were evident, but management needs more training to be consistent because some of these gauchos are cutting the meats wrong! Cutting these high end meats with the grain is a sin! It causes the meat, which should be tender and flavorful, to become tuff and chewy when cut along the grains of muscle. Cutting against the grain shortens the muscle strands and therefore makes the meat softer to chew and more tender. No cut of meat is this more evident than the flank steak and Picanha top sirloin. The cuts in rotation are also so inconsistent. They don 't bring out their signature Picanha top sirloin as nearly as much as the garlic sirloin, which some servers didn 't even know the difference on. The salad bar seemed well maintained and had great options such as smoked salmon, various salads, and chimichurri sauce readily available. The lobster bisque, which is my favorite with the cheese bread, was good but definitely not all hearty as their other franchise locations. The table sides like the mashed potatoes, and fried plantains, and cheese bread were good but not as intentionally stocked as it should have been. The location, although smaller than most other Texas de brazils is set up the same, down to the red bamboo decor but it 's just not as classy. Multiple times, servers walked past us laughing with each other and cussing within earshot! One of them approached one of their managers, placed her hand on his shoulder and was like oh sh!t right next to us. The restrooms lastly are a joke. Only 2/5 stalls work, and there was a line because one worker was hiding inside!
The food at this restaurant is delicious and the service is exceptional, but there is a serious issue with the restroom facilities that needs to be addressed. Both bathrooms have a strong smell of sewage that wafts into the dining area, which is not pleasant for customers who are paying for a nice meal. Additionally, the restrooms are dirty with broken stall door handles, missing toilet paper, broken toilet paper holders, toilet paper littered on the floors, and broken soap dispensers. The overall appearance of the restrooms is not up to par for a higher-end restaurant. It's disappointing to see such a decline in cleanliness and maintenance.
