Kristina from the moment I walked in was as friendly as they come, she yelled a WELCOME IN HON, WHATCHA HAVING?, asked her for your best IPA and she was all over it. Leigh was my server and she could not have been any nicer. The staff is extremely friendly and this a perfect neighborhood locale. The selection of food options is great. Got the Fried Pickles and Fried Mushrooms and they are TO DIE FOR. Perfect blend of seasoning and portions are spot on.The outdoor seating and upstairs patio are perfect places to just sit and either people watch or get amazing views of Pikes Peak while enjoying your food and beverage. Can tell during the summer this place must be hopping. Kudos to the owner(s) and staff for making this a really cool place to hangout, relax and feel like you are welcomed. All in all a great place in Old Colorado City and will visit again for sure!
I came here with my pool team to try a new place to eat. We were overjoyed with our experience here. Not one of us had any complaints. Our food came out quickly and tasted amazing. I ordered the Shrimp and Grits. My taste buds were tantalized. It was the BEST; Most flavorful plate of food I have eaten in all of Colorado Springs.
The best dill pickle seasoning ever! Please bag this up and sell it! I’ll buy bags for the rest of my life! Killer seasoning and great food!!!
At the time they only offered 5 beers, so ordered a flight of their 5.The place is a good vibe, the staff is friendly, food comes out reasonably quick, beer is good.Thursday nights at 6:30 they have Trivia. They are dog friendly, not sure if they can come inside, the few sets that I seen all choose to sit outside. They do have rooftop seating as well. It’s a good stop before heading back into town or heading up to WP.
This was our first experience at OCC Brewing. Drinks first- excellent. We had an IPA and a winter ale, and both were excellent. The gin cocktail I ordered was perfectly balanced- not too sweet, with a nice tang to it.We tried the poutine appetizers and it’s the best poutine I’ve had. I love the tangy pickled cabbage on top of a nice salty and savory sauce and perfectly cooked fries. If we had added the optional pulled pork this could have been a meal. We also ordered the pork dip and the banh mi sandwiches. The pork dip is something I’ll come back for! I love that lavender horseradish, and the au jus was delicious. The banh mi was really nice too. The dill-seasoned fries and ranch dip were worthy of ordering on the side or solo just as a snack- A unique flavor I’ve never had before!OCC loses a few stars for quite long wait times for food and drink and a few basic service oversights. The table was not wiped down when we arrived, we weren’t given plates to go with the appetizer, and we had to request napkins and utensils. The service was very friendly, and they seemed short-handed so we didn’t make an issue of it. Still, some basics like giving us plates for our appetizer shouldn’t have been missed. This may be picky, but the overhead fluorescent lights were a bit obnoxious and too bright. Perhaps some kind of shade or covering is in order? Otherwise, the space was great and the local artwork on the walls is a nice touch. We will definitely be back for the excellent food and drink and the friendly wait staff.
