I was pleased that I skipped a starter because the main course was very generous in portion size. We had a choice of beef, lamb, or a combination of both, all of which were cooked perfectly. The vegetables were also delicious. We appreciated that each of us had our own individual pot of gravy, which was a thoughtful touch. There were four of us dining, with varying preferences for gravy. Despite the cold November weather, the restaurant was warm and inviting. The tables were well-spaced, unlike many other places we have visited where it feels cramped. The owners were friendly and attentive, a refreshing change from some other establishments. We highly recommend supporting this restaurant, as they truly deserve it.
Lovely place, family run, great food and service. Even took us back to our campsite to save us a taxi.
Large table of 14, at short notice. The service and food was faultless. Staff are super friendly and made sure you had everything you needed.
I recently went for a Sunday roast at this family-run pub and the food was fantastic! The service was quick and friendly, and I will definitely be returning. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great meal.
Found this on route back to our holiday home. Amazing food, generous portions, unfortunately couldn't manage a desert. Friendly family run pub. We had a very pleasant meal. Highly recommend going
