Not the best coffee I've had, but did the trick. Wouldn't stop here again unfortunately.
Bummer. Cooper Landing is the natural spot for a pick me up between Homer/Kenai/etc. and Anchorage. Good coffee is a must and we like to stop here, but are definitely looking for a better spot. This stand charged slightly higher than Anchorage prices to be expected $4.00 for a 16 oz. latte. Though recycled, already heated milk is not worth my hard earned $4.00, (plus a tip). Maybe throw it into a super sugary mocha syrup thing, but if I'm ordering JUST a plain latte I expect a GOOD plain latte. Next time, save it for the sugar drinkers and make me a real cup. Disappointed to say the least.
I stopped by here a couple of days ago with my wife and her parents. We left Hope early on our way to Homer and were on the lookout for the first open coffee place whenever we stumbled upon Big Shots Espresso. Since it is a drive thru coffee place there isn't much to say about it other than it had a window on each side and one barista. Everyone in the car on this morning ordered Americanos and i am pretty sure it was our cars cheapest coffee stop during the 8 days that we were Alaska. The coffee from Big Shots Espresso was actually quite good as well as it was both strong and rich. My wife and I both thought that it was the best we had during our Alaskan vacation. The bottom line for me is that I would stop by here again in the future. Not only was it the cheapest coffee that we bought, but it was also the best.
The BEST white raspberry blended coffee I've ever had!! Second to none! They use ice cream and blend it smooth to perfection.
