Also good lemonade and the price is not too high (for European standards). You add a $40 extra charge. Vegetarian options are limited! The Pasta I got was very good
You do not know that the Martini ABC, was heavy in Vermouth, got a green mix, strong it not worth it. choose a beer instead.
Yes, it's at Amerian Hotel in Cordoba, Argentina. The location is good and also the setting. But the food and service are average.
Pros: 1) He sat in appropriate time; 2) Beefsteak was delicious for the one person who was served in our party by two. Cons: TERRIBLE SERVICE: 1. The waitress took order for canneloni, did not know that it was not out of stock, had to come back and... take a replacement re order; 2. waiter never gave after butter or pepper; 3. waiter served Rindsteak to the person who did not order it, instead of the one who did, while a good waiter would remember who had ordered what on a party of two; 4. A good waiter usually serves both parties main courts at the same time, this did not; 5. After 30 minutes my simple cheese and ham disassembled sandwich had not arrived, but the waiter, the sill thing, the waiter, the waiter, the waiter, the thing was the waiter. After another 15 minutes, we asked again. Obviously, forget to place the order with the kitchen, he asked what I had ordered. 7. After 60 minutes and no ham and cheese sandwich, we asked for the bill when the second participant had finished their dinner. We have indicated to cancel the ham and cheese sandwich order; 8. We received no apology from the waiter at any time. Amerian obviously has a kind of club with this restaurant. You should take measures to get your waiters trained better in Novecento. But in the meantime, you do not recommend to apply this facility. You could end hungry without dinner!
We were excited to see a nice, higher end lunch spot on our way to the Art Museum, but unfortunately this place didn’t live up to any of our expectations. Over the two weeks we’ve been in Argentina this was our most expensive meal and all...we had here were two salads and a beer, it was our longest meal (not by choice) too. We sat outside and the server didn’t come to us for 20 minutes. We know service tends to be more relaxed in Argentina but it wasn’t that, many locals were complaining too. Hostesses were somewhat trying to help the server cover the area but not trying too hard and not that friendly. The server dropped his tray because he tried to balance it on a small shelf and a plate broke right behind me, he didn’t even pick it up. I got up to help and picked up pieces that were under my chair and warned others there were pieces by their feet. The chicken in my wife’s salad was over cooked and rubbery, she almost couldn’t eat it. But we didn’t dare ask for another since we had waited over an hour for our food. I asked for the check and he said he needed to get a pen, then we watched him serve three tables for 10 minutes. I asked the hostess for the check and she never brought it. Finally I got up to find a way to pay after being there over 2 hours. I like to give places the benefit of the doubt maybe he was new, maybe they were short staffed. But in either of those cases one would assume the other staff inside or even management would come out and help him catch up. But we watched another server saunter around outside just covering his section and at least three servers inside just looking out the window shaking their head at the situation. Maybe it was our servers initiation day? Either way, the lunch food is nothing special and is overpriced. Worst service in our whole time here. Try to find something closer to town before you head north to the museums and other sites.
