Pane E Souvlaki - Corfu

For the price it is one of the best restaurants we have eaten so far in Greece. It is inexpensive, the staff is very well maintained and attentive, and the food is quite good. We were especially happy about the salads because we didn't expect them to be so delicious! So you can't go wrong when you eat the eggplant salad (which is more a bath to be honest) or the Dakos salad. As the head we had the lamb balls and the chicken spears – both very good! The chicken was very tender and well made while the taste of the lamb was somewhat too extreme for me (my friend on the other hand loved it). The only disgusting of our head was that the fries were partly very wounded. But considering how cheap everything was compared to the other restaurants we were, it's great! Customer service was excellent and very fast. The waiters were very polite and helpful. The food was great! We have the Mastelo cheese*, chicken skewers and pig skewers. The Pita bread was amazing and the portions simply enough. *The mastelo cheese potion had 2 pieces, but one of them was eaten before I could make a picture:

Recommend You this place if you visit Corfu City in Corfu would be worth it for this restaurant alone. The chicken souvlaki (picture) was the highlight for us the meat was incredibly delicious, well cooked and tasteful. The Pommes were fresh and the Pita is undoubtedly the best Pita we had in Greece. Best Souvlaki in Greece. I also ordered a previous time here hummus, which was delicious, with a fresh and natural taste. Prices are also good (e.g. 9.5 for chicken soupaki). As other reviews mentioned, waiting times can be medium to high, but it is understandable because the place is always packed and the waiters and the rest do their absolute best to fulfill each order in a timely manner.

We were here twice and loved it. Food includes oriental varieties such as hummus, falafel, tabouleh, etc. but you can easily get Greek sausages, tzatziki or various salads. Everything is very tasty and they use the local herbs excellent. I was surprised today when the waiter was very helpful in his advice regarding my order. It shows that they take care of the best experience in their place. Totally recommended!

After almost 10 days I spent in Corfu, I found this restaurant and its probably my favourite. Order the chicken souvlaki, the pea mash and one of the fresh salads you won’t regret it!
