Universal Coffee - Cornelius

Oh my! The tamales were so great! My husband is from Mexico, and said the Tamales remind him of back home. They have so much meat, and they taste delicious! I also got the Atole(which is hard to find around this area without me making it at home) and that was delicious too! I can’t wait to come back and try everything else!

I'm enjoying my mexican champurrado with an espresso shot and is delicious.

We recently searched for coffee shops in our area and came across Universal Coffee. They were so friendly and quick with our order and everything tasted fantastic. The chicken tamales are a must along with the horchata cold brew. We will definitely be coming back.Dietary restrictions: There Tamales are gluten free and delicious!

Bomb tamales, friendly staff, coffee is great. Good prices. Their chocolate/cornmeal drink is A+

This is my go-to spot when I am in town. No nonsense, great service, great coffee. They also have breakfast danishes, and fresh made tamales for a breakfast or lunch meal.Wheelchair accessibility: The walk-up window is handicap accessible.
