My sister said that she remembered that we got salads and tomatoes and also guacamole during previous visits. The prices rose to everything, but it was good.
My fiancé had to go to work, so we met here to eat before he left. He got her Calvo, and I got her Acapulco frits with extra cheese and extra grizzy. He said the soup was okay, and unfortunately it didn't come with rice. (Usually soups come with rice) but their fries were amazing and so tasteful! Maybe it was her heaviness, but it was much better than that on Weber.
For an appetizer we ordered Acapulco frits. The dish comes with seasoned frits, gravy, carne asada and cheese, all served on a hot plate. This is one of our favorite children. I ordered a chicken stall. The portions were good, although I was a bit disappointed in the broth. I had to add salt, lime and salsa to annoy the taste. Besides, my soup was great. The soup is served with one side of rice and your choice of flour or corn tortillas. The homemade Maistortillas are so soft and fluffy. A certain must-have! My daughter had the Torta with the Carne Asada, and hubby had the Fajita record with Nopales. No complaints, so I assume it was good. Acapulco is still one of our starting points for Mexican food.
I went on a Friday and expected a taco special this being first time I have been in the restaurant. No taco special was offered. But they did offer a chorizo and egg plate with beans . The plate came with tortillas and coffee. I got out of there only paying nine dollars and some change for two plates. As I said it was first time I have been there but the food was very good.
The food was really great. The sopes were amazing. Highly recommend visiting great place to take the kids awesome. Prices were average to high for Corpus Christi area. Enchiladas were also really good.
