Ho King - Cottage Grove

This is my go-to Chinese restaurant in Cottage Grove. When I don't want to drive more than 7 minutes to get Chinese food, this is where we choose to order! First off, customer service is great! I was looking a veggie and fried tofu type dish and there was no hesitation in them agreeing to make me something, even when it was on the menu. And it was delicious!! Everything that I was craving! We have tried ordering many different things off their menu, and have never been disappointed. Some of our favorites (other than the custom tofu and veggie dish) are chicken chow mein, pan fried noodles, and kung pao chicken!

Was very excited to see all the 5 star reviews and wanted to try their buffet. My wife and I drove out half an hour only to show up at their front door with a big sign saying no take out and no buffet This is not indicated on their website so we drove all the way over there for nothing. Did drive over to the Muddy Cow and enjoyed a good lunch

I would not recommend this place at all. I ordered sesame chicken and general tso chicken. Sesame chicken was burnt sauce ontop of breaded diced chicken breast. After cutting the chicken in the middle the diced chicken separated from the burnt breading and the chicken had no season. General tso chicken was mixed with bamboo, broccoli and duck packet sauce. Everything was disgusting.

I have been coming here for years, the food is great. The prices keep going up. The use to give red sauce with cream cheese wontons, but know they are more expensive without red sauce.

Solid Chinese food, the pork fried rice is a good side to the sesame chicken and cream cheese wontons.
