Lovely meal, very accommodating friendly service good pub grub
Great location but car park and drive full of bad potholes. Really lovely food, friendly staff but service slow.
We live just a 5-minute walk from The Kings Head and it has quickly become our favorite neighborhood spot since it reopened! We enjoy visiting on Saturday evenings for great food, drinks, entertainment, and exceptional service from the staff. We have always felt welcomed and have enjoyed friendly conversations with all the staff and the two very approachable managers. Our son, who is on the autism spectrum, usually finds it difficult to interact with strangers, but he loves the management team at The Kings Head. They go out of their way to make him feel comfortable and we are truly grateful for their understanding and kindness, as some places are not so accommodating to kids with special needs. As a former chef, I am very particular about Sunday roasts (my partner would say I am picky), and I have to say that the roast dinner, as well as all the other dishes at The Kings Head, are impeccable. Their sticky toffee pudding is a must-try as well! The chefs truly deserve praise. In summary: food and drinks are top-notch, the staff is excellent, the atmosphere and decor are fantastic, and the management team goes above and beyond. We highly recommend The Kings Head!
The appetizers were rated 4 out of 10, the mains were rated 3 out of 10, and the dessert was rated 2 out of 10. I was very disappointed with the overall dining experience.
