Peggotty's - County Durham

I found this place recently and can not recommend it very much. it is fantastic, must always disappear for an hour when calling at work. it never disappoints x

After a long walk from the lake a popped and got cheese and wobbly quiche and a lemon meringue pipe, they were absolutely beautiful. would have liked to rest my little legs, but covid says no! will certainly be visited again very soon.

Visited this facility and was blown away from the customer service and the house made food if near me would recommend visiting. very well organized and safe in the current Kovid situation. thanks, susie.

Unfortunately because of the virus peggottys is only takeaway food. very impressed by hygein, it was soothing. I really enjoyed my cold maisbrei, although I guess they would have heated it if I had asked.

Visited Sunday lunchtime and didn't want a huge meal so had a Sunday lunch roll instead. They had beef, chicken and pork on offer. The rolls came quickly with a lot of meat, gravy and chips (and apple sauce with my pork roll). The meal...was very tasty and much bigger than anticipated!
