My friends and I had the pleasure of not only dining at this amazing restaurant but also riding beautiful black Canadian horses for 6 days. First, the restaurant, Gilles meals were not only very tasty but well presented. The salads were always both unusual and delicious. May favourite was the salad with smoked salmon and edible flowers. My favourite entre was the duck, crisp skin and moist, tender meat. The main course was always followed by a fantastic dessert. One of my friends is vegetarian and she was also impressed with the variety of meals Gilles cooked for her.As I said, we were also there to ride horseback and this proved to be a fun adventure. Beautiful, well cared for horses and trails that led us through the countryside, across rivers, up hills and through quaint villages. Gina is a great guide and she treated us to many gallops along the way. She is also very resourceful. One day we were completely rained out so she came up with a plan B which was to go to the town of Lac Megantic. We toured the town and saw how this amazing community has pulled together to rebuild after the tragic train wreck. All in all, this was a great holiday with Gilles and Gina being the perfect hosts. I would highly recommend L'Auberge d'Andromede for both your dinning and riding pleasure.
Fantastic hosts, Gilles and Gina. Roberto too. Great horses excellently taken care of. Fantastic food, beyond and above all expectations. Pastoral area. Quiet. We love Auberge.
I walked into the restaurant for dinner and was greeted by the loveliest lady cashier. She made me feel like we were family.
I called in my order and when I arrived to pick it up, the person at the counter informed me as I handed them my.
