Contribuer aux commentairesI ordered gluten-free fish and chips, and the staff was very knowledgeable about celiac disease. They were friendly, and the dish itself was fantastic. The restaurant is now called CCS Fish and Chips!
The menu begins with "About our gluten-free options," which is a promising start! The batter is entirely gluten-free, meaning many of the deep-fried options, like fish and potato cakes, are safe for those with gluten sensitivities. This was a delightful surprise for a fish and chips shop. While the grilled fish option is gluten-free, they also grill balls, which may not be suitable for those with celiac disease. Our fish was decent, and I was thrilled to find such a rare gluten-free batter! However, the chips were hit or miss, with some being quite dry. The staff was friendly and welcoming, which added to the overall positive experience. Additionally, the establishment is now branded as C.C’s Fish Chips.
The staff were very knowledgeable and provided me with a full list of gluten-free options. The dough was light, and I particularly enjoyed the potato cake. The separate fryer also made me feel comfortable about my meal.
