DO NOT COME TO THIS ONE, GO TO LAKEVIEW LOCATION INSTEAD, UNLESS YOU LIKE DISGUSTING FOOD. (EMPLOYEES ARE NICE AND ATTENTIVE THOUGH).This location and its sister in Lakeview look and feel like 2 complete different category. The similarities end on the menu and prices. This is 2nd time I came to Magazine location and order Benedicts, a $15 breakfast dish (and they have the same multiple variations same as Lakeview) but seems they never trained the chef make them. Both times the yolk were as hard as a 10 minute boiled egg. Also both times the hash browns were complétele burned, I’d say carbonized.Prices are same in both locations though!!Do not make the mistake of thinking you’d visit whichever is closer for the same quality and environment! Even when it comes to cleaning and environment this one in magazine is run down and filthy.Go to Lakeview, save yourselves time and aggravation.Employees are nice though, so I left tip according to their effort not the disgusting food.
We searched for a sit down breakfast spot that served a nice variety of food. Found it! This place has a great atmosphere, good staff and food to match and it didn't break the bank.
I got a Take out order for some pancakes eggs and bacon, it could've been better but not terrible not worth 22 bucks for sure
Decent breakfast joint. There was a waitress being trained by another woman who was very kind to us, but kept throwing the trainee under the bus, or apologizing for kind weird stuff like, oh I 'm so sorry this is supposed to come on a [different style] plate. She 's learning/new/ a trainee. But my favorite staff comment was from someone just arriving to work. You know you 're in New Orleans when [someone says], all my ho 's be college educated. To which I respond, as they should be. No one wants to spend time with imbeciles. I immediately told a dozen people.I LOVE that this place has a gluten free and vegetarian menu for those of us for which dining out is an absolute nightmare. This is so appreciated! Dietary restrictions: Special menu with GF items.
