The environment is intriguing and unique: the uncovered red clay tiles and original wood have been showcased, and, as a result, it feels like going back in time (with a modern twist). As a craft beer lover, I was pleasantly surprised to see they not only offer 'ladders ' (flights from a wide array of craft beer options), but their bartenders also label your samples in the order they will be most flavorably enjoyed. How cool is this?! I had the G2 Fries. They had a perfect crunch, texture, and seasoning. (Not many places can pull this off). Later, when I saw there was an in house made chili, I couldn 't resist, and I 'm glad I didn 't! The flavour was unique, the portion size substantial, and it had a fabulous chocolatey, spice finish. I 'll definitely be treating myself to more of this (once I work my way through the rest of the menu). Finally, the Burger: Whoa, these guys know how to grill a splendid burger! Mine had an ideal crust, a nice juicy center, and all the right fixings. I don 't recall the name of the burger I tried, but if the others are cooked like mine, you can 't go wrong. The service was AWESOME. Jesse stopped by and was both kind and professional, and, Ian, the bartender who helped me select which brews to order, was informative and charming. All things considered, the Fire Hall Kitchen Tap is an establishment worth visiting often!
So excited about the Firehall opening! Went there for an appy and drinks yesterday, and had an awesome night! Love the menu, great cocktail list, beautiful building/atmosphere, and awesome beer options! Look forward to trying out more on the menu in the future, and enjoying the patio Nice work guys!!
Just had our first meal there and are very impressed with the unique menu. Something for everyone. Loved the Cranbrook Ed Burger!!! The fries are excellent!! Way to go Jesse and Fred you must be congratulated!!! Can't wait to come back : Mark and Lorraine
The server was quite knowledgeable and spoke to the kitchen staff. they said that they would meet additional precautions for zöliakie. no separate frit so that g3 pommes are not safe. last time a gf burger and salat ordered and was probably sick by cross-contamination. they eat there several times and became sick each time. until changes are made, or more coaches are trained, I will not go back.
Really enjoyed the atmosphere and food here. We shared the huge steak nachos. The service was great and the outdoor seating perfect for an meal. Would go back for sure if in the area.
