Very pleasant dinning experience with excellent food, great ambience, and excellent service. Great for date nights and also bigger parties. Very centrally located.
Very disappointing visit at the Chapel Grille. We were seated promptly but did not see our waiter until 15 minutes later. I contemplated leaving. The whole vibe was very chaotic with wait staff rushing by the table but never stopping. Neighboring tables were receiving apologies for delayed entrees. My cocktail glass sat empty while we were waiting for our food, and I watched the waiter walk back and forth without looking over to ask if I’d like another. The level of service was shockingly lacking. The food was OK, but not what we expected at an upscale restaurant with a menu priced accordingly. We skipped dessert as we didn’t have the patience to wait any longer. We will not return.
Staff was untrained. Raw bar food was comped due to awful littlenecks. SLOW drinks, generally not good. This was outside on the patio. Generally this is a great restaurant, not sure who is running it lately, it was not enjoyable.
It was so enjoyable to have lunch in in the stunning surroundings of Chapel Grille. Our server, Kate, as always, was pleasant, accurate, and timely. Tasty bread to begin our meal accompanied a healthy arugula salad with fresh roasted red yellow beets, toasted pistachios, burrata cheese, and honey-dijon dressing. Our choice of entrees, the grilled boneless pork chop with roasted red bliss potatoes, sautéed spinach, and a delicious barolo sauce as well as the Mezzi Rigatoni a bolognese ragu) were both nicely prepared. Generous portions too! Overall, a very relaxing and satisfying luncheon.
