Applebee's Grill - Creve Coeur

Our meals tasted very good and our server was on top of things. Several visits to the table to check/refill even though they were busy. ?

We came midday and had Zach H as our waiter. He is super tall, but got down on our level to take ordered. He was the best server I have seen in a long time. His attitude and continued amazing service made our experience amazing. The food was great.My son had ordered a pizza but Zach put in cheese burger. He immediately took responsibility, got the pizza ordered, checked multiple times with us and the back to make sure we got it right away and apologized multiple times to my son.While we waited another employee Yolanda come over and started to chat with my kids and was very engaging and kind.When we received the bill he had comped the meal, without our request, and asked if my kids could have some candy as a way for him to make up for the mistake.The most impressive part was seeing how he interacted with all the other customers as well. Multiple times he would sit with an older couple to listen to a story. But never neglected his other tables. Gave the same service to all.Above and beyond 5 star service.

Never got to taste the food. We were seated and never got a waitress. Everyone except greeter was partying at the bar with, I guess, celebrating/singing another employee's birthday. We watched two women come in, be seated after us and immediately waited on. As we began to leave, the gentleman in the booth behind us said he had been waiting for service for 15 minutes and was still waiting when we left. It was just awful!!! I said I was going to report this to the corporate office--should have--by didn't. Really deserves Not Even One Star!!!?

Do not use Carside To-Go at this location. Just spent 20 min (AFTER the projected pick-up) waiting only to find there was NO ONE working that station. I had to go inside to speak to the host to get my food. All I got was an insincere Sorry for your wait, for the trouble. Top 5 worst restaurant experiences.

Very attentive, efficient staff.They did great for my carry out order.They took the order over the phone didn’t force me to order on line. That’s a huge help!!
