I had a fantastic dinner at this restaurant. The ambiance is charming and welcoming, and the extensive vegan menu left me undecided. I had to seek assistance to choose the best dish, and I'm grateful I did. Tracy, the owner who also served us, was extremely friendly and helpful. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was delightful, and the service was exceptional.
This is the first restaurant I have tried in Sydney that resembles a Mexican restaurant, from a Southern California perspective. Many places here have a Spanish vibe, but this place feels more like authentic Californian Mexican cuisine, if that makes sense. If you are missing home a bit, this would be a good place to visit. The drinks, like Negro Modelo, are good. I ordered a vegetarian burrito without cheese, and the server mentioned they have a vegan option available. Plus one for that!
I was thrilled to try and bring my family here. ordered an art burrito they said could come with vegan acidic cream. more like real sour looked and I was turned off. my man ordered the “Montezuma Special” and it looked literally as if they had taken raw vegetables and they just pumped them in a mixer, it is now a running sweat in the family. at a point we were able to walk across the floor. it's a super cramped room and doesn't seem very clean at all. eating was really average. will not go back.
Super beautiful staff, fun interieur (especially the stand seat when their group is small), really extensive separate vegan and vego menu. that was delicious. I want to go back and try more on the menu.
