On arrival owner (lady) was quite rude no customer service skills, no information where the unpowered sites were, no site maps. Once finding our site we arrive to find a construction site, mountains and mountains of smelling dirt piled up 5 ft covering the view of the so called creek which was filled with fallen debris. Once we set up site trying to relax some permanents living on site across from us start to have domestic related to drugs and alcohol, started smashing their car and caravan with his fist and a stick. Threading his girlfriend and other capers on site in front of their 3 year old son. This went on for an hours before police were called. Not once did owners come to see if campers were ok. Permanents we're escorted off site. Felt very unsafe as they were hanging around the tavern after and the next morning. Other permanent on site seemed very questionable and not what you want your family and children to be around. Cars coming and going from sites early hours in the morning, Loud and disruptive. We went to get ice from the tavern we ran into the owner (male) we kindy asked if we could please grab some ice, his response was extremely rude and told us that they were open all day and should have gotten it earlier. The sign out the front was advertising "Sunday roast" (which this was a Sunday at 6pm) apon say this his response was there's no one around so we shut, refusing to give us ice as he walked away from us. Amenities very rundown. Bars of soap to wash hands in the women's toilet as to no soap at all in the males. Playground (if that's what you call it) VERY Unsafe and out of date full of rust, rocks and dirt. Roads are very muddy/slippery/dusty and need to be sealed. Overall the park has not seen any maintenance in several years and definitely needs a health and safety check as it is not up to any kind of standards and shouldn't be able to operate Picture on internet are extremely false If you're looking for a nice place to stay!! Stopped here after a visit to the wildlife park, good quality meals served all day, we'll priced and a good selection of drinks. Nice little beer garden, would be good in summer. Definitely worth the visit and surprisingly not as far from the city as I'd always thought. Will go back for the schnitzel night.
My family and I went here for lunch after our time at Gorge Wildlife Park before going to the giant rocking horse not too far away. The food was pretty good and prices were very reasonable. I paid less than 80 dollars for lunch for 6 people... Thank you lunch specials! Service was good and polite. Food didn't take long either. Not a fancy place, but basic dining and simple food is exactly what we wanted. We enjoyed it, so give it a go before or after Gorge.
Very ordinary food, I would not recommend at all for the food. Friendly staff but not much in the way of atmosphere.
We finished a lovely day in Cudlee Creek by having lunch in the restaurant. Two adults and 3 kids. The menu had something for everyone. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the food was lovely. They have thought of everything by keeping the small poker machine area quite separate from the bar and restaurant. They have an area dedicated to arcade games for the kids and young adults alike. We will definitely come back the next time we are in the area.
