Comfortable and well equipped rooms, spotless communal areas and pristine toilets. A word of thanks to Michael who was manning the front bar on our arrival. Understated excellence, warm hospitality and ,increasingly rare in younger bar staff, an ability to engage in conversation.
First class, beautiful location, cosy warm welcome. We had dinner which was delicious, great beer too. Breakfast was superb, ten out of ten! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Highly recommended!
Been about 5 years since last visit, lovely meal as usual, always have fond memories of the place .
Very cozy little hotel situated in a quiet Donegal village. Staff were very good and the service was next to none. However the food we had for dinner was really poor. We both ordered the lasagne and what we got was a bowl of microwaved bland and greasy mince and pasta with copious amounts of unmelted cheese on top. For €15 we expected a lot more. The food here came recommended from someone and we were really looking forward to it. Would stay again but might be tempted to eat elsewhere.
Good food, great local staff, but more important than all that!! The best pint of Guinness I have had for years
