Cru - Dallas

It was a really good experience, especially since I was in several locations. The server was really nice and offers recommendations. The Ahi option was delicious and the open flight was really good. I actually bought one of the selections when I returned home.

This was on my bucket list (a location in my neighborhood, not in the airport). There were two bartenders working during our visit, as there was a shift change. The first bartender was hard to find and took a long time to tend to us. The second was great. We stared with a port wine, which isn't listed on the menu. We asked for the bottle presented on the shelf and were told we could have that one, since it was 5 years old (being used for decor). We were offered a different brand all together on a 2 oz pour. It was approx $11 per glass. The whole bottle is sold at the liquor store for $13.99, so we were definately being taken. I then tried the sweet wine flight. The 3 designed wines didn't work together. The st michelle Moscato is so sour. I wasn't gettimg any sweet and it ruined the flight. Just FYI for any Moscato drinkers. The flight was about $18.

We had some time to kill before our flight so we sat down and ordered a few salads and a flight of 3 wines. Our server was very nice and brought the wines quickly. The kitchen took a while to produce 2 salads and I noticed that at least one person who arrived after us first got their food. But once they arrived, they were delicious! The place was clean enough and the atmosphere was very nice for a Sunday afternoon. We would definitely go back.

Excellent service. The two ladies worked as a team to serve the whole place. My server has loaded my phone, the BEST Cabernet and food recommended. If you fly in Terminal D American you need to visit Cru, you will take care. Recommendations: Wine flight, Cabernet or ask for recommendations, grilled cheese and tomato soup, salmon salad and don't skip the chocolate cake!
