Service was stellar as always. The food was very good, but not as excellent as we’ve experienced in past visits.
Everything was great! We were disappointed that they had ran out of the Lobster tails . Other than that, perfect evening!
Food and atmosphere was great! However the waiter tried adding a 30 “gratuity” tip and wasn’t going to say anything until my husband and I asked about it. His service was good, but not that good!
It had been a while since I was last at Tillman’s, so we went for Valentine’s. It was a nice experience, although the valentine’s reservationists expecting the prix fixe menu were placed in the back peacock room (which has no windows, mind). Not a huge problem for the evening time and it was quieter than the overall restaurant as a whole. The food, while very tasty, had some room for elevation. My 8 oz filet was technically a rib eye, and the steamed lobster tail was slightly overdone, but everything was seasoned well and the veggies were tender and delicious. Wine and beer choices were limited but purposefully it seemed so that each glass tasted fresh and not like the bottle had been opened forever. Each server was quite friendly and very attentive as well. Standout dishes included the desert s’mores and the amuse bouche, that evening being a tuna tartare mini taco served over a lemon or lime wedge.
