I was in a mood for homemade soul food so I went to hardeman bbq on W. Kiest rd. I got the senior plate which was $10.99 but at check out they said $11.99 plus tax’s $12 etc .. for a very small portions, 1 SPOON of rice/beef which look dried) plus 1Spoon of cabbage and 1SPOON of yams .. it looked like portions for a baby for the cost?? When I carried the bag with the plate it felt very light, the amount didn’t even fill the little sections.. but I know better now ..for a few dollars more I should of gone to Sweet Georgia Browns.. Never again to Hardeman.
I don't eat meat, so can't tell you bout that. But the rest Always great soul food when I drive through Dallas. Fellow truckers, you can pull your rig up on the street right in front of the plaza, and put those hazards on. You can usually fit in the lot if you want, but get out and look it over to plan your entry, parking and exit before you pull into the parking lot.
Well I bought food twice here not ever again dry and cold ..I moved on ...
Great customer service, friendly staff and the food is exquisite. Seasoned just right. Omg, the peach cobbler is just like my mommy makes it. We are truckers from Florida, this place needs twenty-five stars.
