The Peasant The Pear - Danville

This review reflects the overall experience as a result of service experience. Even though our server seemed nice it felt forced. We get these looks from the manager and overheard comments which made us feel like we were not good enough to be served there. Maybe because we weren 't dressed fancy or of a different race? Been to many restaurants and never felt quite like this here. It is unfortunate that the professionalism is lacking here.

We spent the summer nights at The Peasant The Pear bar and lounge. It was nice and relaxing, especially with the music in the background. Sitting outside is really nice on a warm summer day. Nice set up!! Great time.

Delicious food and very good service. The lamb shank is a must try . Absolutely wonderful!

A nice neighborhood restaurant that is bit nicer than average. A good place for date night or special occasion. Rodney's food is excellent as usual!

Food is not consistent. Sometimes it is amazing and others mediocre.
