Shower was hot and cold which was annoying, but there was a fridge, tv with good channels and a super super comfy bed. However the best part was the cleaning, housekeepers were perfect, cleaned every single day as though we were arriving all over again, mopped the floors, changed the sheets and towels! Really incredible, I worked in a 5* resort and the same was not done for guests staying for more than one night! The housekeepers were also the kindest and nicest staff in the hotel, they even decorated our bed with flowers on multiple occasions so so kind! The rest of the staff had very very poor English. At breakfast and dinner they were constantly eyeing you to look for empty plates but it came across quite rude and annoying.. they should really wait until guests leave to take plates, not keep interrupting to ask if you are done. However there was very good selection at dinner and breakfast, with lots to choose from, some food was cooked in front of you so, although I couldn’t eat a lot of it because it was greasy or oily, there was a big salad and dessert selection so couldn’t fault it! However it should be noted that drinks are not included with dinner not even water. There are signs up saying no food can be brought in from outside we were a bit alarmed at this because no sweets, crisps are chocolate are sold at the hotel however there is a nearby shop just outside the complex. The beach was stunning and the pool too, however a lot of other things were closed the shops, creperie, shisha bar and rooftop cafe bar. No kettle was provided in the room and the bar would not serve us tea or hot water they were actually quite rude about the request. So we had to go out and buy a kettle would be better if you could rent one from reception as many hotels do. Everything must be paid either in cash or by a top up card, and everything is VERY expensive U.K. prices, not what you would expect in Tunisia £10.50 for a starter Caesar salad !! Also no ice cream on the menu? The excursions guy was very annoying and rude, constantly hassling you to go on trips, when you clearly weren’t interested couldn’t afford the expensive trips! All in all, a good stay, well looked after grounds, decent food and comfy beds.
For a big hotel this hotel was great, lots of comfortable spaces, Good food and a nice indoor pool and hamman. The outside pool was empty in March. The Africa themed decor was bizarre verging on offensive but it was very well finished with very good lighting so even the big spaces felt cosy and comfortable
Comfy rooms, friendly staff, nice covered pool (winter spring time). The decor is very original and the food is overall good. It is a little on the pricey side though compared to what if offers. We love it for a quiet vacation off season.
I visited this hotel last summer August 2022 for 3 days :the customer service was so unprofessional ,the room that they give us was bad even we asked them to change the room they replied the hotel is fall but i asked the cleaners staff they said there’s empty rooms, the food was disaster breakfast +dinner we managed to eat outside the hotel, the swimming pool was so dirty the water yellow was so disgusting
Rude customer service and stuff, we stayed for 3 night and in the last night they didn't clean the room claiming that we're supposed to be leaving today, we had to clearify the situation and then they said the room cleaning service is over , they only changed the towels and they sent a very rude guy , the food is good and the place is amazing but wosrt service in reception and staff
