To be fair, the tofu entree was some of the most delicious tofu that I had ever left off from bottled sweet chili sauce when the carnivores accompanied the same tofu with what looked like a delicious freshly made sauce. this set the ton for my meal, which she could not be disturbed. I asked for a veggie pad thai and they couldn't even harass them to do that. seem too difficult in a Thai restaurant! my head was at the end, pad see ew, which was so tasteless it was unusable. everyone who eats meat had very well prepared dishes. I paid the same money, but one of the worst dishes I had this year. Got to know why they can't sort out, all they have to do to make a good veggie dish is a **** decent kiss stuck in it! heard of ‘mushrooms’? kapsicum? heard of 'broccoli? it was terrible that I had to have pizza later, I was so hungry so it was $60 down. I contacted them afterwards, but they didn't want to have feedback and were incredibly rude. I would never, ever recommend and would never go back. bad meal and badest customer service this year (shamed as the tofu was really delicious so that they can cook, they can simply not be disturbed).
To make matters more confusing, the three vegetarian guests ended up paying for a banquet but only received an entree of tofu and a main dish. While the dishes were tasty, it was not the same as a full banquet meal and seemed much cheaper than the $55 per head set menu. When I tried to discuss this with the manager, he did not acknowledge that the vegetarians had been given less food than the other guests. He also did not seem interested in hearing any feedback that was not positive about the restaurant. Overall, it was a stressful and frustrating experience as I had hoped to avoid any issues on the night of the party. The expectations set by the manager did not align with what was actually provided. Additionally, it took over an hour to receive our food. In conclusion, I would not recommend this restaurant for vegetarian diners.
This eclectic Thai restaurant serves to dine, combining a complex delicate melange of aromen with wonderfully fresh crunchy textures. the servier sizes were sufficient, exactly right. obviously they only use the most freshest ingredients. the service was a little slow, but we noticed at their door. they said they were hired, so maybe they were undermined at that time. the prices were with fine food, but nevertheless a good value.
This restaurant has been strong for many years. the victor formula is delicious eating, byo wine and very reasonable prices, but to mention efficient friendly service. so glad they survived the kovid 19 love ckdoems.
I first visited Sydney in the mid 1990s and discovered Thai Nesia while staying in Darlinghurst. I enjoyed the meal and have always remembered this little Thai restaurant fondly whenever talking about Sydney. I have been back to Sydney a few times since then and always make sure to visit Thai Nesia, including this week with my 9-year-old son. Thankfully, the restaurant has not changed and still offers wonderful meals and friendly service. We cannot recommend Thai Nesia enough. Even though we stayed in North Sydney for the first time on this visit, we made sure to travel a few stops by train to dine at Thai Nesia on our first night. It was great to hear that the restaurant still has the original owners, although the waiters now were not even born when I first visited. I feel old now, but I can't wait to visit again the next time I am in Sydney from Melbourne.
