Shapla Indian - Darlington

I've had a couple of takeaways from Arvelli and we also had a birthday meal for 11 of us in the restaurant. Every dish we've had has been utter perfection! The chicken and lamb is the most lean and tender that I've ever tasted. Everything is so tasty and fresh, and of the highest quality. The owner is so warm and attentive and service is always friendly and welcoming. I've eaten at every Indian restaurant and take-away in town, but Arvelli is the best and will be my go-to every time from now on.

We ate here on Wednesday evening after recommendation from friends. Staff were very friendy and very helpful. The food was excellent, all very, very tasty. This from the poppadoms and pickles, rice dishes, main courses, side dishes and naan breads. We shall return shortly.

Highly recommended because of the best food, divine taste, magnificent service and ambiente! the chef is attentive to details and his staff really cares about their experience. the view of the restaurant is beautiful and clean, soothing music in the restaurant is like cherry on the cake, that eating is amazing, all we tasted melted in the mouth (especially biryani) absolutely the best we had in darlington uk. thank you, chef raju!

A beautiful evening. Nothing can disappoint. positive moods of the staff and people (cook) behind the kitchen are amazing. our day so special with its rice dal (lentil) tadka and rice is highly recommended. raju mann, you're amazing how the one you received in your heart was unpaid. many thanks to team “ARVELLI”

Best Pashwari naan ever ! Great service tonight from Raju and his team, explained all the food in detail, lovely poppodums and chutneys, all made in house, korma light and the right sweetness. The best naan I have ever eaten, and i have had a few in my time. Light, fresh and perfectly cooked. We will definitely be back very soon Thank you Jason Kerry
