Mestizo Contemporary Mexican Cuisine

We visited drinks and an app on Thursday night and were very underwhelmed. We came about 15 minutes after they opened and were the only ones there. Of course, the restaurant cannot control how busy it is, but it was extremely unpleasant, as every time we looked over, servers only stared at us. The prickly pear margarita tasted like Vicks VapoRub and the queso was just white Velveeta. I would consider going back during a busy time and maybe sitting on their side terrace because our server was friendly and it's a nice place.

Very bland, no season. Fajitas weren't sizzling. Quality of beef bad. It filled my stomach and that? I will say two start bc servers and wait staff were very nice and attentive. Quality of beef was very bad!

Really delicious food. It is not the traditional Tex-Mex that we usually find in the USA and who loves me! My favorites are the crab cakes and the Pollo Mestizo! Take this and thank you later.

I finally checked Mestizo. I give them 5 stars because they are very courteous and do their best to make your culinary experience great. I had no chance to take photos. My mother-in-law was with me and she's not in taking photos. We shared a Steak Fajitas enjoyed the mild salsa with the chips. The manager wanted to say hello. She was so sweet. I'm back. I want to try more dishes. Update: Stop on 22. July for a late dinner after a movie in Birkdale. Connor, our server, was great! Beautiful outdoor seating! I love how you can be here in the heart of Downtown DAVIDSON. Beautiful environment, great atmosphere.

Not your typical Mexican. If you?re looking for a burrito this isn?t the place. It?s upscale and absolutely delicious. We were nervous about trying it out but can?t wait to come back. The steak and shrimp was great.
