Lunessa's Cafe - Davie

Absolutely fabulous place for a delicious meal. First time here, and already want to come back. The menu serves a decent variety for all but their dishes are lick the fork worthy. Martie was our server and she was outstanding for our party of 8. Inside is a very comfortable open space with plenty of seating from booths and tables. The decor is simple and sweet and has a bit of an old fashion with a slight modern touch. The menu is big enough to satisfy everyone's cravings. Around the table kids had the 2 for 2 breakfast with eggs, bacon (extra crisp), and toast. Of course there was chocolate chip pancakes that were fluffy. The California hash, pulled pork hash, the Western omelette, pulled pork taco, and the famous shrimp n grits. Everything and I do mean everything was great but the shrimp and grits (mind you I dont like grots) were freaming fabulous and is an Absolute must order dish. Three of us ordered this and cleaned our plates. They also serve coffee and all the regular refreshments,juices ,na d sodas as well as breakfast mimosas are available and beer. Our family had a great breakfast together and I wouldn't mind coming back tomorrow, lol. Come here, eat, and be merry for real!

I have to say I was floored by how amazing the food here is and that I was pretty upset I have not been here sooner. This is a newer place that opened right as everything started going crazy due to the ongoing pandemic. For the food, I decided to get the Western omelette and let me say, I was shocked at the size of the thing for the price! The omelette is a very generous helping that you will probably have leftovers to take home with you. My omelette was filled with ham, onions and bell peppers and all of the stuff in the food was very and tasty. The ham had a nice little hint of salt on it and the onions were grilled/cooked to perfection so they did not leave any strong onion taste when I was done with each bite of them. The bell peppers were also very fresh and had a nice crisp to them, even after they were cooked and added to the omelette. My girlfriend got the 2-2-2, and I can not believe the amount of food or the fact you get BOTH pancakes and a toast! The pancakes were also some of the best pancakes that I have tried from a breakfast place in a very nice amount of time! The breakfast potatoes were also seasoned amazing and had a real nice crisp to them due to the perfect cooking they did on them. The prices are wonderful as well, really making me not want to go anywhere else for breakfast. I have to say, their lunch menu also looked amazing so I am looking forward to stopping here and trying some of their lunch items soon as well. The staff is also very friendly which is a great plus for a newer place! I can not wait to be back soon, hopefully!

Wow! So glad we found this place. Truly kicked up Diner food. Maybe the best Shrimp and Grits we've ever had. The service was a good as the food. Very reasonable prices. Give this place a shot.

This place deserves more hype. The food is made with love and it’s fresh. The shrimp and grits were too good and so was the California hash. Amazing latte and cappuccino. And the service was stellar. Bethany was such a pleasure. Absolutely recommend this place! We live nearby and are always looking for brunch spots and I’m glad to have found a new favorite.

Love this place! Awesome service, great food, great prices. I got the weekend special pancakes which were chocolate cinnamon crunch and my boyfriend got the country burrito. Great portion sizes and delicious. Fair warning, this place is small and fills up quick so either go early or be prepared to wait! We will definitely be back for lunch as those options looked delicious too.
