Absolutely delicious. Amazing customer service. There's not much inside seating but being so close to the beach there's usually always a breeze. You are greeted by a menagerie of beautiful plants to only go inside to a quaint beautifully decorated restaurant. Their menu is a bit overwhelming but that's why I got two entrees . Prices are fair. And their plum sake cocktail is amazing. Don't quote me on that but it's definitely what the hostess said. So three entrees (poke bowl and two ramens) and 3 adult beverages and an appetizer my bill was still under $100 didn't even break $80. Would totally recommend to anyone.
Loved this place! We were lucky enough to get a patio table while it was nice outside (dog friendly! . The vibrant greenery was beautiful and a breath of fresh air. Our waiter was very kind and accommodating. Food came quickly and it was all delicious. We ended up splitting an eel roll (so tender! , a bowl of tonkotsu ramen (Corn and ginger garnishes were a fun combo. The broth was not rich and much lighter than other tonkotsus I’ve tried, which actually worked really well here , a salmon poke bowl (all the contrasting flavors and textures worked so well together! and a coffee bubble tea (honestly the boba tea was overkill, it was very sweet and we were very full on our way out
I absolutely loved this and u will also! Sushi roll, tuna nacho and I 4 get what else I had....it was spectacular start 2 finish! Friendly helpful and attentive servers .. I loved it. I enjoyed the almost metaphysical vibes in the atmosphere outside dining very much. There r some very interesting people on Beach St. here I keep running into!
What a gem in the culinary wasteland that is Daytona Beach! Not only are the food, service, and atmosphere excellent, but they serve non GMO soy and organic rice, and they have vegetarian and vegan menus. You can count on one hand the restaurants that have non GMO food in the greater Daytona area; it's rare to find a restauranteur who has the awareness to understand how toxic GMOs are and offer a healthier option. When I commented to the waitress how much we appreciated having organic and non GMO options, she actually brought the tofu package to show me it's non GMO certification. How awesome! I had the Classic Thai Green Curry with tofu, mixed veggie tempura, and the house salad with ginger dressing. My wife had the Unagi Bomb, eggplant tempura, and Spicy Seafood Tom Yum Noodle Soup. All portions were generous, all dishes were fresh and delicious. It's obvious, compared to other Asian restaurants in the area, the chef has had formal chef training; the flavors, textures, and presentation were superb. The only negative I can mention is that they did not have bottled water, only filtered tap water. They have a good variety of beers, wines, and sake, of course with some Japanese brands. The restaurant is somewhat small but cozy with nice atmosphere and outside dining, both covered and uncovered. I will certainly eat here again and tell all my friends! Update 09 2020: previously did not carry bottled water, now they do. Updated from previous review on 2020 09 27
