For just $3, you can enjoy a fried pie, and for $9, you can indulge in a large whole pie. These pies are not only delicious but also expertly made. A quick tip: if you’re planning a long trip, be sure to bring some ice or a cooler to keep your pie fresh. This place is typically open from Wednesday to Saturday during the morning and afternoon, so it’s a good idea to call ahead or watch for the open sign while driving by. It can be a bit hard to find; look for the driveway on the opposite side of the highway from Craig's BBQ, and the pie shop is the second building behind the main house.
Are you kidding me? This restaurant is a must-visit for anyone who loves pie, culture, or just needs a bit of happiness in their life. It’s an experience you really shouldn’t miss. The chocolate, pecan, and coconut pies are the best I've ever had. Make sure to call ahead, bring cash, and consider picking up an extra pie for a friend or loved one. You won't regret stopping here!
We had the chocolate pie, and it was incredibly delicious! The staff were also very friendly!
This delightful family-run establishment serves the most delicious fried pies you'll ever enjoy. They have a wonderfully flaky and tender crust, and the fillings are truly exceptional. In particular, the pecan and coconut cream pies are a real treat!
I wish I could give her 6 stars! My wife and I recently moved to De Valls Bluff, and we must have passed this place at least two dozen times before I finally decided to stop in. We went on a Saturday, and I ordered a strawberry treat and a chocolate one. They were fresh and warm—absolutely delightful! The strawberry was bursting with flavor; it was honestly one of the best things I've ever tasted. The chocolate was even better. Ms. Lena, the owner, is such a friendly person. If you have the chance on a Saturday afternoon, grab as much cash as you can, head over to the intersection of Hwy 70 and Hwy 33, call ahead, and make sure to bring cash, as there's an ATM nearby. Ms. Lena, keep up the amazing work—great food and wonderful people!
