Indeed and surprisingly delicious Food that anyone cannot expect from this particular busiest location in the town. I had almost had most of the dishes in my 4-5 visits and believe me they all are at the standards of any good restaurant in Rajpur road location. I am speechless about the cleanliness and hygiene of this place, I mean it is really clean and tidy. Regarding Ambience i loved the tribute given to fathers and forefathers as I could see their classic portraits hanging on the one side of wall. It is really a different concept. I also loved the sitting arrangements made of old tyres giving a retro look. Keep up the good taste and services
Since the time I had seen, a picture of their colorful interior on one of my friends account I wanted to visit this place. After inquiring the whereabouts of this place, I got curious. Why? because of the location choice of this cafe. Usually most cafes are either somewhere near Rajpur road or in some calm, serene part of the city. But this cafe, is right on one of the most busiest and traffic filled road right opposite Jain Dharamshala (lies in between railway station and prince chowk! wut? <br/ <br/ Yes, that's exactly what my reaction was at first and then I got curious. <br/ <br/ One fine day when one of my friend wanted to visit a new place, but not far from my place, I just knew where to take her. <br/ <br/ The cafe is very small but like I mentioned earlier the interiors are very colorful. The two sides of the cafe are covered with mirrors and give this small space the illusion of being big. Must say very smart thinking of the interior decorator. The recycled tires have been used to make furniture and painted colorfully. Also, loved how they have used old long lost things in a quirky way (I tried capturing a few . <br/ <br/ The third wall of the cafe is beautifully covered with pictures that are memories of the owners grandpa (that's how this place got its name and also been paired with high table for two seating system.<br/ <br/ As for food I didn't have much expectations with this place. I expected it to be okayish but this place actually surprised me. I ordered <br/ <br/ Dry fruit milkshake<br/ <br/ Pasta<br/ <br/ Masala tea<br/ <br/ Sandwich<br/ <br/ Everything tasted nice and the prices are pretty decent. Best part in their menu beside the cafe items they also have breakfast (eg. poha and thali too. I do not remember seeing these things on the menu when I visited. So I believe they have added new things to the menu.<br/ <br/ Will go back to try their breakfast or thali menu.<br/ <br/ So if you are in the area, don't have much time to go all the way to Rajpur road but craving for some good place with good food, this is the place for you. <br/ <br/ Few picture credits Shivangi Thapa
