Sal's Italian - Delray Beach

The Sal's special (pizza) is delicious!!! It's meatball, sausage, and ricotta. You can taste each topping and the crust even had flavor. Their delivery driver Jordan is also very nice and helpful. I hope your location continues to thrive!!

Blown away by this place. Ran in because its beside Aldis and couldn’t believe my good fortune. One of the best Italian meals I’ve ever had and I’ve been to Italy many times. The pasta fagioli soup was divine, the hot bread melted in my mouth andthe penne a la vodka was sublime. I’m guessing the pizza is good too, as lots of to go orders were heading out. Service wasalso great. If you’re shopping at Aldis you have to add lunch or dinner at Sals to your schedule.

Visited on a whim and was pleasantly and thoroughly surprised. Interior not spacious but well laid out and seating is available on the patio . On the sidewalk at the front). At the time I visited, patrons were mostly seniors, with friends and relatives, well known by staff and having a wonderful time. Kitchen was kept busy producing meals for in house and an equal number fortake out. Pizzas were extremely popular this is the first Italian restaurant I have found in Delray which will make a piewith white, cheese), as opposed to red sauce.....HALLELUJAH !!!! I ordered a cup of chicken soup except for broccoli delicious. La Caprese salad for one todays ' lunch) and Chicken Francese the best! The menu is extensive , the meal superband the prices reasonable. If you 're in the area or live here and never visited.........GO. You won 't be disappointed.

Not worth the time or money! I was with a friend and we both ordered shrimp scampi over past...it normally comes with angel hair pasta...he asked for regular spaghetti instead of angel hair. Well...we both got angel hair. Had to take his back...by thetime he got his replacement dinner with regular spaghetti I was 3/4 thru my pasta and his the pasta that came back for himwasn't fully cooked. Had to send it back and we cancelled the 2nd order. So for 1 mostly pasta and 8 shrimp, garlic rolls, andsmall salad and 1 calamari with no flavoring and iced tea and water...$50.00!!! SERIOUSLY! The waitress knew we were upset andat the very least we should have been discounted for the 1 meal for having to wait only to cancel...SHAME ON YOU SAL'S !!

We were waiting more than 30 minutes for the waitress to serve us. During that time we saw her chatting pleasantly with other customers. We even had to order the menu from a busboy. As we told her what we wanted she made nasty faces. In the end, welost time and left without eating. I will never go back to that place.
