I love this little restaurant and their pupusas. They give you so much food and it always taste great. The owners of the restaurant are extremely nice and helpful.
The food was delicious. I got the carne asada. Everything tasted so fresh. Even the tortillas tasted from scratch to me. Large portion for $14. The wait time for the food was only about 30 minutes. I have not tasted something so good in a long time. I can’t wait to go back.
As a Latin woman in the united states, its hard to find genuine, delicious, authentic latin food this far north. This place is it! We were in the neighborhood and we decided to stop by. This place EXCEEDED our expectations! I felt like I was back in my grandmothers kitchen again. Small family owned restaurant that absolutely serves the best! I will be back again and again!
Everyone should give this place a try! At first glance, the menu appears to feature typical Mexican dishes, but the flavors are truly unique. I ordered the pupusas, which came with three salsas. While none of them were particularly spicy, each had its own distinct flavor profile. The beans and rice were standard, but their texture and taste were unlike anything I’ve experienced before; they reminded me more of Indian cuisine than Mexican. There was also a slaw that resembled a sweet sauerkraut—quite an interesting twist! Overall, it was a one-of-a-kind dining experience, especially considering the generous portion sizes for the price; I took my pupusas to go and received about 2 pounds of food for just $9. I highly recommend checking this place out, and I plan to return soon!
